Found this guy again and thought I'd share. I'm actually pretty happy with how he had turned out. Most of the stuff I did when I was supervising design on Stoked makes me cringe a little inside when I look back at my work, but I guess that's just the perfectionist in me talking. I'm always wanting to add as much as I can and if I'd had the time, I would have LOVED to push things more. But schedules and deadlines always like to get in the way
The kid is the lizard's human companion. I thought he was cute, too, so he got thrown in. And in case you're wondering what those poses were for, the lizard is floating along on a piece of wood and climbs up onto a character's head.
All of this was done directly in Flash. The rough designs (funpack) took about an hour of so, just finding what I wanted to do with the characters. The cleanup and other poses probably took about a day. Lawd only knows I probably went over those a dozen times before I was happy as well.
Ah, I always wanted an iguana...
and the 20 other people over my shoulder here at comic con london think so too lol
