Because raptors do it best!

FINALLY had a good chance to finish this commission for :iconroseraptor:

She said she wanted to colour it herself, so she'll be getting the original file with layers 'n such. It's kinda nice to just have to worry about the line work for a change :P

Aaaand this was a BREEZE on my new computer! My other one would have choked on this file till it was blue in the face...er... drive, I guess. The original image is 200 dpi and was scanned from a quick sketchbook doodle and finalized in Photoshop cs5. Believe me, the original sketch was hideous and messy! It will never see the light of day on the internets. lol

side note: I took a little liberty with the character's feetses and legses to mesh a more theropod look with her design. I find I'm always inspired by the "Gargoyles" approach to designing clawed hands and feet. Hope is okay! Her tail is also a bit longer to help balance her weight a little better for the pose.

I actually wouldn’t mind seeing the sketch. Its weird but I find the missy sketches more interesting and inspiring then the finished versions. Don’t get me wrong though., the color technique of art including yours is amazing. Totally agree with the legs and feet by the way.
