Well, we FINALLY did it! Welcome to our first GOAPs (Guild of Artistic Procrastinators) upload! This is exciting! We say a lot of silly things throughout, but aside from that, we hope this video and any others we produce down the road will be of some help and interest to others! Best of all, you get to listen to :iconfnook:'s and my derp voice in full HD! WHO THE HELL WOULDN'T WANT THAT?!?!?!?! :woohoo:

Nice! Very helpful tutorial. I got motivated by listening to it and wanted to try your inking method out for myself.
Great work you two :)

I didn't get time to finish the vids yet but I am definitely adding these for future reference! You are both so skilled and sharing your techniques with the rest of us, taking the time to do that is really kind of you, thanks a lot to both you and *fnook too!

Thank you for taking the time to share. I wish you told us what short cut keys you use as you work. I will have to research how to do some of the things you talked about. ie. "turning the page as you draw," and locking the layers for color.  I enjoyed the video.

Yeah, we have plans to make a video or two explaining some of these short cuts, among other things :)
Problem is we had to speed up the video if we wanted to show the whole clean-up process in one shot.  The session in real time was just over 2 hours in length, haha.

This is really great! It's good to watch another artist's process, and I was reminded of some simple things I'd forgotten about (like locking the color layer, I'm definitely going to do that from now on!) Thanks for doing this, and I look forward to more!

Awesome, glad you enjoyed!  I'm happy that even though this is our first video, it's getting a lot of positive feedback.  Hopefully next one will have even better content ^_^

I posted on the video as well, but I wanted to post here as well to ensure you saw the comment:

This video made me feel extremely well prepared to enter the industry. I was completely comfortable with all the techniques I saw, and had heard all of the advice before and had already accepted it as common sense. Not only that, but the attitude and the spirit that you two exude made me feel very much at home. Perhaps we''l work together at some time in the future!

Great video! I had no idea about that rotate canvas tool. I'll have to try that out sometime. Is there a shortcut key for using that by any chance?
